I have had many strange experiences on my journey. I will start with the Goat devil or satyr I saw.
I was on a trip from Osage Beach Missouri to an unnamed rural community some 10 miles east of Eldon Missouri on a paved but vacant two lane highway. It was late summer, perhaps 11pm-12am we traveled east. I was in the passengers seat, There was a woman driving and another guy in the back seat. Approximately half way through the trip, both sides of the road were heavily wooded, a fence ran along the left side a creature emerged from the trees. It was about 400 yards up the path and was the size of a deer, indeed we took it for a deer and she lowed the car(where there is one there are ten). As we closed the distance it proceeded to the center of our lane. As it grew closer something strange struck me, this deer was only standing on its hind legs! The angle it stood at too was perplexing, it defied gravity. With out the support of its fore legs it should have had to compensate with a more up right posture to maintain balance, but some how it did not. Taking all this in we drew closer still. Its eyes caught the light much the same way a deer would as it turned to face the headlights turning its the top of its body to face us like a kangaroo. At this distance I could discern stunted arms like that of a tyrannosaurus rex only they ended in hooves and small goat like horns, its coat was clearly fawn with deer like patterns. It lingered only a moment and by 50 yards it bounded in two hops across the westbound lane and over the fence into the woods.
We pulled over on the next gravel road to discuss what we had seen. Me and the drive agreed on the above details, the passenger in the back seat admits only seeing a deer bounding on its back legs.
If anyone has seen a similar creature let me know.
