[glow=yellow,2,300]Yehasuri[/glow]The Yehasuri ('little people') are small, sometimes hairy, humanoids of the native Catawba folkore that allegedly hide on the Catawba Indian Reservation in South Carolina. Description The Yehasuri are described as gnome-like (two feet tall) and hairy. Behavior The Catawba believed that the Yehasuri live in tree stumps and eat all sorts of things such as frogs and bugs. They like to do tricks such as stealing children's footprints and shadows,or undoing people's work if they are not properly appeased and avoided. The only way to stop them is to rub tobacco on your hand and say the ancient Catawba prayer dugare ini para'ti na yehasuri deme hana te we stere yanamusi sere.
