In 2007 I did a spontaneous walkthrough investigation of the Devil's Tower/Screaming Johnny's area with my then girlfriend Carrie. These are the pictures from that investigation.

I have lived in Hannibal all my life and yes this is true. I myself have had experiences there. It is known for devil worshiping. Also in white bear caves. I've seen dogs come running after me but when I go up the street u could see right through the dogs. That tree has hung ppl...many black slaves in the older days. I've also seen white figures in the trees with red eyes. Something grabbed me once....couldn't tell u what because I couldn't see anything. There is also a story about 2 vehicles playing chicken and no one survived..and u can see headlights coming after you. And the ppl that live close by always and I mean always have every light on in their homes and outside lights as well. If u are looking for activity this is the place to go.

I went here with my ex boyfriend, we didn't go in the tower just the road next to it. He called it hells highway. Anyway we drove to the end of the road and turned around, he turned the lights off and locked the door warned me not to unlock it saying that one time the door opened itself. At first I saw a pair of head lights they were round and looked they came from a classic sports car it looked like they went up a hill then disappeared. A second car came about 6 feet in front of us and turned left into a vacant field. At this point I wasn't freaked out it was very very cool. Then as we sat there I started to feel something watching me just staring at me. It was pitch dark I couldn't see anything so I made him turn his head lights on. In the woods I could see shadows moving. At this point I just had this overwhelming feeling of dread and wanted to get the hell out of there. When we got home our car was dusty and I could see hand prints in the dust from the gravel road. Before this I was skeptical but not anymore. I'm never going back there and I wouldn't recommend you go. There is evil there.

I was just out at screaming Johnny's avatar tonight with my boyfriend and a couple friends we r just moving here from NY and wanted a little thrill well that's exactly what we got we walked the perimeter of the church then my friend and I went back and stood by the car as my boyfriend and his friend went inside and they were throwing stones and such at use trying to scare us well we were staying there talking I was scanning the church with my light and I seen what looked like a white shoulder go by the left first window and I yelled to our friend saying I seen him there was no reply well I just brushed it off thinking it was just him messing with us then shortly after I seen a solid black figure climb in the right front window I yelled to my boyfriend that I seen him well a minute or two later he comes running out mind you he was alone at that point and time he was yelling telling us to get in the car that we needed to get out of there well I later found out that both guys were in the back of the church and neither of them climbed into a window and I was told that while my boyfriend was in the church by himself he heard something move then heard something that was like a whisper\growel and he wasn't gunna stick around to find out what it was I'm just curious as to if anyone else has seen what I did I know for a fact I seen what I did I'm just wondering if there is any further info as to what it was exactly and if there is any more back ground info on the church and what happened and the date
